Nene H is back—with botox—to present ISSA SCAM, the sardonic, self-dissing mini-album taking aim at TikTok trends and parameters of perfection. Following her critically acclaimed Trifecta EP, the artist returns to Live From Earth in an era of cultural critique with a collection of six and a half tracks that satirise the suffocating ‘evolution’ of our digital age. The result is masterfully meme-worthy, complete with catchy vocals, infectious basslines and retinoid-ripe injections of sickly sweet pop, and features a first time collaboration with the ever-elusive Bubblegun.
